All our formulations contain a minimum of 99% biodegradable ingredients to ensure that they are gentle on the planet as well as on your skin. Our formulations have been developed so that they break down, helping to minimise the impact they have on the environment.
Our products will predominantly ultimately break down into the elements of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. It is not possible to assign a time as it is very dependent on the environment in which they are left to biodegrade, especially the levels of oxygen, water, light, temperature and how many bacteria and the types of bacteria around. We do only use naturally derived cleansing surfactants that pass a specific biodegradation test which achieves at least 60% in 28 days.
